Catedral (2024) – Spirituality & Abstraction in Diptych
Catedral is the first diptych created in this study, consisting of two vertical pieces that capture the essence of the “Catedral” space, located at the end of the Giverny Wetland in Santo Domingo, Chile. This work goes beyond mere representation; it seeks to translate the fleeting sensation of the sacred through the interplay of form and color.
Measuring 58 x 38 cm, Catedral has been meticulously framed by renowned artist Salustiano Casanova, enhancing its depth and lending it a refined, sophisticated finish. Entirely handcrafted with ink on logbook paper, this piece embodies the chromatic exploration that precedes the large-format works of Nature and Abstraction (2024).
